Thursday 21st April, 2011/Friday 22nd April, 2011 HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

What a week I've had - phew!  It's been really hectic with the eldest daughter and grand-daughter here for an extended few days and putting them back on the train at Portsmouth - after hitting the shops for the morning and then off to see 'We will Rock You' at the Mayflower in Southampton today - after hitting the shops for the morning - becoming a bit of a habit!!!  Not much time for blogging this week or carding! - but here she is anyway.   I've used:

  • Back to Basics backing paper

  • My new EK Border Punch

  • Ribbon that I already had

  • Pearls from E-Bay

  • Diamond Stickles

Monday 18th April 2011: Making bracelets

Today I went, with number one daughter Helen and grand-daughter Imogen (who are home for a few days to visit), to my crafting group that meets every Monday in Arreton, on the Isle of Wight.  This week, we had a jewellery making demonstration by a friend of mine, then made our own bracelets.  These are the ones (hopefully, if I can add a photo - it's all still a bit new this blogging lark!) Helen and I made...Imogen's only 5 months old, so couldn't make her own...instead, she had lots of cuddles with the group!

I hope you like them. It was fun to do and something different and new for me.
